Blue Smoke

I began my dance journey at age six, at Tel-Aviv’s Royal Academy of Dancing. After training in classical and modern jazz dance, I moved to Paris to start a new life. Even though I was focused on my musical path, dance was my first love and I never stopped exploring it’s different forms.

My meeting with choreographer Leila Haddad, was a turning point for me.

I discovered the multi faceted aspects of middle eastern dance, which helped me reconnect to my Tunisian roots, and to my own body in a new way.

I performed at Le Theatre de la Villette and at the Arabic World Institute, as well as on various French TV programs.

In 2002, I moved to NY, and was very fortunate to work with the great choreographer and instructor of Middle Eastern dance, Yousry Sharif.

I started performing as a singer and dancer in New York finest middle eastern venues.

Since 2005 I am sharing my knowledge and teaching this beautiful dance form around Brooklyn.
